6 dope dealers killed in Bulacan anti-drug operations

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – Six notorious drug dealers were killed after shooting it out with lawmen in a series of anti-illegal drug operations in the towns of Norzagaray, San Ildefonso, Hagonoy, San Rafael, Guiguinto and Malolos City Thursday and on Friday morning.

Bulacan acting police director Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., said that a wanted drug dealer was killed during a follow up buy bust operation at around 2 a.m. Friday in Barangay Iba-Ibayo Hagonoy town.

The slain suspect was identified Lauro Reyes alias “Lupin.”

Reyes is out on bail due to an earlier illegal drug charges filed against him after he was earlier arrested in a buy-bust operation in Paombong town.

Caramat said a police team pursued Reyes after his companion, identified as Lamberto Morales, fired at the approaching lawmen serving a search warrant at his house in Barangay Iba, also in Hagonoy town around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Morales, according to Bulacan police, heads the criminal group “Bobsy Gang” which is involved in the series of shooting incidents, motornapping and robbery-hold-up in many areas in the province.

In San Ildefonso town, Oliver dela Cruz alias “Aga” was killed during a buy bust operation in Barangay Pala-pala at around 1 a.m. on Friday.

In Norzagaray town, a subject of search warrant in Barangay FVR identified as Keith Del Pilar Gibson was killed when he fired on the police at around 1:45 a.m. Friday. The police team was implementing a search warrant issued by Judge Celso Baguio of Gapan City, Nueva Ecija.

In the City of Malolos, an unidentified suspected drug dealer was killed when he fired on policemen during a buy-bust operation along the Diversion Road in Barangay Mojon around 1:45 a.m. on Friday.

In Guiguinto town, another armed drug dealer was killed after shooting a policeman acting as poseur buyer,

The slain suspect was only identified as a certain “Anok,” who sold PHP500 worth of shabu to PO2 Jay-R Noprada.

The suspect drew a handgun and shot Noprada after his alleged cohort identified as Barry Tuazon arrived riding a Black Yamaha Mio Soul, without an attached plate number and shouted the following words, “pulis yan (that is a policeman).”

Noprada was hit in the chest portion of the bullet vest he was wearing, causing him to loose his balance.

Luckily, he did not sustain any injury while the security/back up members of the operating team, who were positioned in a dim privately owned backyard, rushed to the scene upon hearing suspect Barry Tuazon shouting.

Subsequently, SPO1 Rogelio Gregorio, who was the first to rush-in, fired on the armed suspect, who died instantaneously after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds in the body.

Simultaneously with the firefight, the other members of the operating team blocked suspect Barry Tuazon who tried to elude arrest riding the motorcycle.

When he was frisked, two pieces of small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet were recovered inside the small right pocket of his maong pants./PNA/FFC/ZST/EGG
