Clark Airport personnel returns 5,500 euros to owner

CLARK, Pampanga – The Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) has commended an employee of one of the concessionaires at the Clark International Airport (CRK) who returned a lost wallet with cash amounting to 5,500 euros or close to PHP300,000 to an Indian national who arrived from Singapore via Tiger Air last Feb. 19.

“We commend the honesty of Mr. (Rene) Nambatac and we assure passengers of Clark airport’s strict policy to immediately turn over or return lost or abandoned items to their rightful owners,” Alexander Cauguiran, president and CEO of the CIAC, said on Thursday.

Terminal Operations Manager Hilarion Ritche Nacpil said that Nambatac, one of the staff of the HG Money Changer, found the brown wallet of Rebello Braminn who left it at the shop’s booth containing the said amount.

Nambatac immediately surrendered the lost item to the airport operations authorities who notified Braminn.
