ANGELES CITY – The seven provincial offices of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Central Luzon shall be holding free trainings for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on the first week of July.
This is in line with the celebration of MSME Development Week, which carries the theme “Developing Innovative and Resilient MSMEs.”
“The celebration aims to improve the operational capabilities of MSMEs, expose them to current business trends, and increase their skills to compete in local and global markets,” DTI Regional Director Judith Angeles said.
Topics of these trainings include Good Manufacturing Practices, Waste Minimization, Marketing, Tax Rules, Product Development for Non-Food Sector, and Packaging and Labeling, Basic Costing and Pricing, Quality Customer Service, and Product Standards.
“There will also be discussions on How to Start a Business, Food and Drug Administration Rules and Regulations on Licensing Food Establishments and Registration of Processed Food and other food products, Online and Digital Resiliency for MSMEs, and Intellectual Property,” Angeles added./Carlo Lorenzo J.
