Tarlac City – – He kills his victims by stabbing them.
A “serial killer” who confessed killing at least 2 persons was arrested here by the police at his residence in Barangay Sapang Maragul last Wednesday.
Tarlac Police Provincial Director PSSupt Ritchie Medardo Posadas identified the arrested suspect as Nelson Martinez Almoite, 20 years old.
Earlier, a woman and a gay were found dead boring stab wounds.
The first victim was Christina Esteban, 21, who was found lifeless with 22 stab wounds at Barangay Sapang Maragul last November 8.
The second victim was the 29 years old gay Henry Allied of Barangay Motrico, Lapaz, Tarlac, who was dumped dead at Barangay Tibag last November 10 with multiple stab wounds in the body and 5 wounds on his nape.
Four minors who said they saw the murder of Allied identified Esteban by his star-like tattoo on his neck.
Upon his arrest, the police recovered from Almoite the cell phone of Esteban and the short pants of Allied. The fan knife (beinte nuebe) used in killing his victims also recovered from him.
Upon his apprehension, Almoite admitted killing Esteban and Allied. He, however, denied involvement in the stabbing to death of another woman found dead the near irrigation canal in Barangay Matatalaib a couple of months ago. “With the arrest of Almoite, we have solved 2 murder cases. We are still verifying reports that he has robbery case in Angeles City”, said Posadas. /Nelson Bolos
