Local Government Officials of Tarlac City visited the Tarlac Provincial Capitol to pay courtesy calls on Congressman Victor Yap and Governor Susan Yap.
Mayor Cristy Angeles was joined by Vice Mayor Aro Mendoza and City Councilors Ricky Diolazo, Ana Aguas, Abel Basangan, Vladimir Rodriguez, Topey Delos Reyes, Cesar Go, Jojo Briones and, Weng Quiroz.
During the visits, Mayor Cristy led the reporting on the current programs, incoming city-wide projects and ordinances that are being implemented in Tarlac City. Status in terms of traffic, order, and drug affectation rate as well as the major concerns coming from different barangays were also discussed by the city officials.
Governor Susan Yap expressed her concern on the remaining percentage of drug-affected barangays in Tarlac City and urged the city officials to be even more aggressive in resolving the issue. Mayor Cristy Angeles, together with Vice Mayor Aro Mendoza and the city councilors, assured the good governor that they will work together to formulate comprehensive programs to support the cause.
Governor Susan Yap and Congressman Victor Yap articulated their approval on the current direction of Tarlac City and continued to encourage the local government officials to give their best as public servants and bring Tarlac City back to its prime once again./FB: Mayor Cristy Angeles
