Tarlac’s Fourth Negosyo Center opens

TARLAC CITY – Senator Bam Aquino recently graced the opening of the fourth Negosyo Center in his home province that is located at the newly-constructed Municipal Tourism Building of Capas.

In a message, Aquino ensured his all-out support for the programs and projects of the Negosyo Center.

“We will ensure every Negosyo Center will have the allotted budget and resources to help entrepreneurs in Tarlac,” Aquino said.

“Negosyo Centers seek to help start-up businesses, potential entrepreneurs, and existing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs),” Department of Trade and Industry Provincial Director Agnes Ramirez said.

Under the Republic Act 10644 otherwise known as the Go Negosyo Act, a Negosyo Center shall be established in each local government unit nationwide to support inclusive growth and economic development.

They provide business consultancy, capacity building, product design and development, monitoring, and other support services for MSMEs.

“The Negosyo Centers are supported by MSME development councils, local chambers of commerce, business associations, and academic institutions,” Ramirez added.
