TARLAC CITY – Mayor Cristy Angeles’ initial plan for the rehabilitation of F. Tañedo St. called “The Sunday Flea Market” officially opens July 24 at the Tarlac City Plazuela.
This evergreen project aims to alleviate the infamous situation of F. Tañedo St. as well as to provide a safer place for the city’s sidewalk vendors and their consumers.
Mayor Cristy made some rounds inside the city plaza today to gather feedback from the vendors and to observe the situation.
“Under probation pa po ang proyektong ito sa Sangguniang Panlungsod ngunit tiwala po ako na mapapatupad po natin ito ng tuluyan. Patuloy po nating i-a-upgrade ang ating strategy every Sunday simula po ngayong araw na ito hanggang sa makabuo po tayo ng pinaka-epektibong estratehiya para sa proyektong ito. Mahalaga po na laging win-win ang mga resolusyon natin sa ating mga problema nang sa gayon po ay ang bawat isa po ay makikinabang dito. Patuloy ko rin pong hinihingi ang suporta at kooperasyon ng lahat para sa tagumpay ng proyektong ito.
Mayor Cristy invites everyone to visit the Flea Market which operates from 6:00 AM until 12 MN every Sunday.
