TARLAC CITY (CIO)—John Louise I. Cabalo, 10th grader of Maliwalo National High School, bagged the 2017 Civil Registration Month Poster Making Contest champion trophy held on February 15, 2017 at the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Tarlac Provincial Statistical Office here.
The said activity was successfully accomplished through the joint effort of PSA and Tarlac Association of Civil Registrars (TACRE).
The poster making contest followed the theme, “Pilipinong Rehistrado, Matatag na Kinabukasan ay Sigurado.”
Corazon Bonifacio of PSA Tarlac welcomed the participants while Emmanuel Rigor, President of TACRE, gave his message before the competition proper and served as a judge with Norman Bundalian of PSA Zambales and Rowena Escoto of PSA Region III.
Our City Civil Registrar, Armin Ibarra, was present during the competition to show support to the representative of Tarlac City. The 12 participants came from the different towns of the Province of Tarlac.
This activity is one of the lined up events for the celebration of the Civil Registration Month. On February 24, all certifications will be free for the first 50 clients. On February 26 and 28, “Kasalang Barangay” will be held at Barangays Bantog and Matatalaib/Tarlac CIO
