Tarlac City – The Metro Manila Development Authoritty (MMDA) recentlty conducted a Traffic Impact Study of major thoroughfares in the city of Tarlac.
Through the effort of Mayor Cristy Angeles and support of Tarlac 1st District Congressman Carlos O. Conjuanco, the MMDA Traffic Engineering Center headed by Director Neomie T. Recio conducted a traffic study on major thoroughfares and intersections in the city last November 12-16, 2018.
The team focused on areas where traffic congestion usually occurs. A total of fourteen (14) MMDA personnel conducted the study.
Part of the study were Road Inventory Survey, Traffic Movement Count Survey/Evaluation which are vital in developing a Traffic Development Plan for Tarlac City. The said study will serve as invaluable output to address congestion in critical intersections and useful guide and reference for future infrastructure development in the city./@tarlac.cio
