CITY OF SAN FERNANDO,Pampanga – The provincial government of Pampanga is targeting a 100percent membership of every Kapampangan in the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth).
Michelle Lopez, provincial PhilHealth coordinator, announced this goal during the meeting of the chief and representatives of different district hospitals with Philhealth officials held on Thursday at the Sannguniang Panlalawigan, Capitol building here.
According to Beth Capuli, chief insurance social officer of PhilHealth-Pampanga, 86.51 percent or 2.3 million out of 2.6 million of the total number of residents of the province are already PhilHealth members.
Officials from Philhealth also discussed the updates regarding the agency’s services and circulars.
Capuli said PhilHealth upgraded its services from manual to automated services.
“Paper less and checkless payments are already implemented. We are now into electronic payments and services,” Capuli said.
The circulars that were discussed during the said meeting are the submission of Statement of Account (SOA) for all case rate claims reimbursement or the PhilHealth circular no. 2016-005; PhilHealth circular no. 2016-006 or the revision of PhilHealth CARES Form 1 (PCF 1) or PCF 1 superseding PhilHealth circular No. 021-2012,; and the PhilHealth circular no. 2016-009 or the institutionalization of PhilHealth services at the point-of-benefit availment provided by the P-CARES.
The listed circulars were discoursed to the participants during the meeting to be familiar and guided accordingly.
