CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), together with the Police Regional Office-3 on Friday confiscated 30 kilos of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) worth Php100 million in a raid conducted in a warehouse in Angeles City.
Arrested during the raid was a Chinese national identified as Yiye Chen, an alleged member of a transnational drug trafficking syndicate.
The raid was made following a tip from a concerned citizen.
After receiving the information, a search warrant was issued by Executive Judge Bernilito Fernandez on Jasmin Street, Hensonville, Malabanas, Angeles City.
Police said inventory of the seized illegal drugs was still ongoing as of press time./PNA/Rea Katherine Mendoza
