CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation president in this city died after his sports car crashed into a row of houses and a passenger jeepney in Barangay Sto. Niño, Plaridel town, this province, before dawn on Monday.
Bulacan Police director, Sr. Supt. Chito Bersaluna identified the victim as Marc Paulo San Diego Manaysay, 24, a resident of Barangay Lugam, this city.
Initial investigation showed that Manaysay, on board his grey Toyota sports car, was on his way home around 2 a.m. when his vehicle plowed through three houses and a jeepney near Nabuag Bridge.
Due to the strong impact, the SK leader’s car was totally wrecked with its parts scattered all over the crash site.
Rescuers had to use a cutter to pull Manaysay out of the car.
The victim’s head and neck were severely injured, causing his instantaneous death. His family and other relatives arrived at the scene of the accident but refused to give a statement.
