Tarlac City Police intensifies crime-awareness program

TARLAC CITY — The accomplishments and incessant determination of the Tarlac City Police in bolstering the anti-illegal drug and crime-awareness campaign of the government is starting to gain recognition from the media and the communities here.

In the interviews conducted at the Tarlac City Police Station, PSupt. Bayani Razalan, Chief of Police, discussed the upcoming project of the station wherein the police will be actively involved in a strategic school-based crime-awareness campaign dubbed as “Bayaning Pulis ang Titser Ko”.

The continuous operation in line with “Oplan Double Barrel Reloaded” was also discussed by the Police Chief in separate interviews conducted by correspondents/stingers from GMA 7 and Net 25 (Agila News).

PO3 Julius Apolonio, Police Community Precinct 3 member, conducted distribution of flyers on crime prevention and common modus operandi in eastern barangays such as Maliwalo, Matatalaib and San Jose, as police here constantly get deployed in the field doing information dissemination activities.

On May 3, 2017, a simulation exercise on Station Defense Plan was conducted to assess the readiness of every personnel in defending the Station during an enemy attack.
PCInsp. Jim Tayag, Deputy Chief of Police and Police Community Relations Officer conducted a briefing on the simulation exercise of the station’s defense plan, a proactive measure for possible sabotage.

On May 4, 2017, the Police Community Relations personnel led by PCInsp. Tayag, together with PCP 5 Commander PCInsp. Herolito Teria and PCP 5 policemen, conducted a lecture on Republic Act 9165, also known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 in Barangay San Luis.

The same activity was held in Barangay Armenia on May 5, 2017.
