TARLAC CITY — Jan Lian Claire Domingo, an 18-year old beauty from Barangay Matatalaib, was crowned Ms. Tarlac City 2017 during the Coronation Night held last Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Tarlac Plazuela.
Domingo, a BS Marketing Management student, bested the 9 other beautiful candidates who vied for the prestigious title and also bagged the Best in Swim Suit and Best in Casual Wear awards. She ran-away with the P100,000 grand cash prize and got majority of the special awards given away by sponsors.
Katrina Mae Sese from Barangay Sta. Cruz was the 1st Runner-up with a P60,000 cash prize. She was also adjudged Best in Long Gown.
Danielle Imee Manlutac from Barangay Balibago I was 2nd Runner-up and won the P50,000 cash prize. She was also adjudged Miss Popularity. Krystelle Mhae Ignacio from Barangay Sta. Cruz was 3rd Runner-up with a P40,000 cash prize.
This year, no candidate went home empty-handed, as the 6 other contestants who did not place were given a consolation prize of P10,000 each.
