Tarlac City – The Tarlac City Police Office, in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Tarlac, conducted an enhancement training and seminar for Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams on September 27-29, 2016 at the Tarlac City Plazuela.
The lecturers were retired PSupt. Elsa F. Miranda and Tarlac City PNP Chief PSupt. Bayani M. Razalan.
The three-day seminar focused on the key roles of BPATs in crime prevention and their importance as partners of the PNP in maintaining peace and order. It likewise included a comprehensive lecture on anti-crime strategies and efficient management of disasters and emergencies.
Barangay tanods and barangay committee members on peace and order participated in the said activity. They were tasked to empower all stakeholders to become force multipliers and share the responsibility in keeping peace and order in the community./Tarlac CIO
