Drug reformists undergo drug awareness lecture

TARLAC CITY – The fourth batch of drug reformists undergo drug awareness lecture as part of the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) Program at Tarlac Provincial Police Office Bahay Pagbabago Reformation Center, Camp Macabulos on January 13, 2017.

The Tarlac City Police Community Relations personnel, with the supervision of Police Chief Supt. Bayani Razalan, organized the said activity to upkeep the advocacy of President Rodrigo Duterte against drug peddling and abuse.

The principal goal of Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) is to teach effective peer resistance and to strengthen the refusal skills in trying to use illegal drugs. This will enable them to be self-reliant and confident to eliminate the need to take harmful substances.The program also seeks to build social skills and enhance self-esteem by promoting and imbuing positive values.

Luz Ducusin, member of the Drug Convenors Group was one of the lecturers in the conducted event. Aside from drug awareness, Operation Member PO1 Joemilyn Ong and Investigation Member PO1 Kate Tabamo conducted a lecture on first aid procedures./Tarlac CIO
