TARLAC CITY – About 79 business name applicants composed of meat and fish vendors were recently assisted by Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Tarlac through its Mobile Business Name Registration service at the Victoria Public Market.
With its drive to provide “Serbisyong Higit pa sa Inaasahan,” the registration service was achieved through the joint effort of the agency, association of market vendors, and municipal government.
The Mobile Business Name registration aims to facilitate the registration of the micro, small, and medium Enterprises in far-flung areas and to reach out to them through random business counseling.
“The activity was able to facilitate registration without the store owners having to go to the DTI Tarlac Provincial Office to file the application, thus saving time and not interrupting their business operation,” DTI Provincial Director Agnes Ramirez said.
“Republic Act 3883 or the Business Name Law requires those who intend to use business names in the course of doing business shall register the same with DTI,” Ramirez added. (CLJD/TJBM PIA-3)
