Tarlac City – In lieu of the Cyber Month celebration, shoppers stepped into the digital realm as SM Supermalls rolled out the first EverWing Tournament nationwide.
In SM City Tarlac, the EverWing competition was held at the Mall Atrium on August 26. This was opened to everyone and could play starting 3pm until 6pm. The player who got the highest recorded and registered score would be the winner. Each player who has the courage will be given the chance to project his or her game with everyone in the big screen.
Aside from the EverWing tournament, the marketing department of SM City Tarlac spiced up the event with a cosplay parade which was participated by 14 people, who walked around the mall. They became the “apple of the eye” as everyone gazed and some had a photo op with them.
Meanwhile after the 10 second countdown the 3 winners among the 79 EverWing challengers were announced. The first EverWing Champion was Mr. Jason Basa from Tarlac City garnered a total score of 6,243 and received 2,500 worth of SM gift certificate then the 2nd placer was Mr. Marnel Mendoza from Gerona had a total score of 5,929 and brought home 1,500 worth of SM gift certificate and the 3rd winner was Mr. Sonny Boy Arciaga also from Gerona Tarlac got a total score of 5,276 and was given 1,000 worth of SM gift certificate.
