Concepcion, Tarlac – – Notorious pusher no more.
The number 10 most wanted of the province was captured last Saturday at Barangay Alfonso.
In his report, PSupt Mike Guzman identified the “notorious drug pusher” arrested as Romeo Buan Jr., 44.
Buan was apprehended based on the Warrants of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court of Capas town for 3 acts of violation of the Comprehensive Illegal Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165) including a charge under Section 5.
Buan is presently detained without bail at this town’s police station.
Guzman said Buan’s case was previously dismissed by the Provincial Prosecutors office but his warrants of arrest came out after the Department of Justice charged him of the same offense upon reviewing his case.
“The DOJ automatically reviews all drug cases dismissed by the local prosecutors”, said Guzman./ Nelson Bolos
