Tarlac City – The Philippine National Police Director General (PDG) Ronaldo “Bato” Dela Rosa graced yesterday the ongoing 1st PRO3 RD’s Cup being held at the TSCI Firing Range, Barangay San Isidro.
The shoot fest was organized by PCSupt Aaron Aquino, PNP Region 3 regional director together with the Philippine Shooters and Match Officers Confederation, Inc. (PSMOC) headed by Cong. Suharto Mangundadatu of Sultan Kudarat.
The 4-day shoot fest was participated by the officers and men from the 7 police provincial offices in Region 3 and which will end today.
Apparently, Dela Rosa’s coming came as a surprise to many of the police officers participating the first shooting competition organized by the PNP Region 3 office.
“The coming of PNP chief was not announced. We were surprised by his visit”, said a police officer who requested his name withheld.
Two years ago, the PNP also held the “Games of the Generals” at the TSCI Firing Range with former PDG Allan Purisma leading the “open competition” among police senior officers./Nelson Bolos (FB: Tarlac News Center)
