TESDA Tarlac to hold FunD Run for the Environment

TARLAC CITY – Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Provincial Office is set to hold a 5k FunD Run for the environment on September 17, Saturday.

“Kapaligiran para sa Tuluy-tuloy na Kaunlaran” aims to generate funds for the advocacy on tree planting and two-year maintenance of every tree.

As part of the theme, TESDA Provincial Director Ben-hur Baniqued stressed that they highly discourage the use of plastic bottles and plastic cups during the run.

“Paper cups will be provided for everyone during the program,” Baniqued added.

There will be a registration fee of Php300 for the race bib number and singlet.

The run will start from the Tarlac City Plazuela to Ninoy Aquino Boulevard, then on to Romulo Boulevard then back.
Certificates, prizes and specials awards will be conferred to the participants after the 5K run.
