How fast time flies! I hardly even noticed or realized that one (1) whole year of publication has now arrived. A full 53 issues including this issue. One year of consistent, steady and without fail weekly publication has now come to pass and has been realized. It was not an easy year but was instead a year I would say of interesting dynamics. It is just unfortunate that we had to keep our paper at its barest minimum when it comes to the number of pages. I, as publisher of course had always wanted to come out with a thicker paper and wider circulation but due to the dictates of the economic reality of publishing, we had no choice but to keep our paper lean and mean as some would put it.
So, for the meantime we will maintain this paper at 8 pages (easy to increase if need be), but rest assured that should there be issues that need for us to go beyond our usual 8 pages or perhaps advertising and/or other PR revenue then we will gladly increase our number of pages. Likewise the usual 1,000 copies printed can easily be brought up to whatever number (perhaps 2K, 3K or beyond) and distributed strategically where it is most needed. As I candidly say, our paper engages in propaganda, the good, decent and moral propaganda that is and will not hesitate to expose dumb-dumb (TANGA AT BOBO) officials.
So no worries to our dear readers, as this paper is literally still at its infancy. The good thing is we still have a lot to learn and share with you as we maintain the attitude that we are not affected by the idea that is often said that “you cannot teach old dogs new tricks.” This certainly does not apply to us. We are willing to learn and accept our faults and/or mistakes when need be. This paper for as long as I am the publisher will remain flexible and dynamic when it comes to addressing the issues, at times perhaps go with the so called lesser evil or on the other hand swim against the tide. We will likewise strive to be as factual as possible, no such thing as alternative facts for us. My eyesight or vision when it comes to what is and what is not factual is 20-20. No in betweens, no gray areas when we talk of facts. The truth as I know it is cut and dry, no in betweens and of course no alternative facts. Let us not forget the famous line of Sendador Pinky este Ping Lacson “what is right is right and what is wrong is wrong and must be made right.”
Now don’t get me wrong. I do not have nor do I maintain any messianic tendencies, nor do I look at the world with jaded lenses. Simply put, the world (this country more particularly) is full of evil and when I say evil, I refer to the real shitty unfathomable and un-imaginable evil. I hope you my dear reader of this paper gets my point.
In a nutshell, allow me to define my role as a publisher and the role of this paper that I envision and intend to practice. This paper is here to “comfort the afflicted and afflict the comforted”- He He He , Joke, Joke Joke. As publisher, when push comes to shove, I will always go with the lesser evil and will side with the weak and the marginalized. The strong and mighty will have no need for us, but the weak, the meek and most of all the oppressed can count on us to be their voice.
To our readers who had taken the time to read us, maraming salamat po sa inyo at Mabuhay Po Kayo!!!

Pulpol na Barangay Kupitan – It becomes truly sad when your local barangay office becomes afflicted with extreme corruption. Take note that I use the word extreme. Corruption to a certain degree or level is somehow an accepted proposition but for a barangay captain and/or barangay official to be that corrupt to the detriment of their constituents that on instances wherein the residents’ health and well being are getting severely affected is another story altogether. The situation becomes truly sad but more so disgusting and must be put a stop to immediately and this extremely corrupt official(s) should be taught a lesson. Unfortunately, I cannot name names at this point, as our affiliate first needs to file the corresponding complaints before I or this paper gets to talk about the concerned sobrang korap na kupitan este kapitan na ito. Pero abanagan lang ninyo my friends, we will expose in full detail the ineptness of this allegedly corrupt barangay captain. We will of course get his/her side of the issue. Of course, once numerous complaints are lodged against this official(s), involving other older and past issues, they will realize that whatever minor corrupt gains they have gained will surely be for naught. Mauuwi rin sa wala at mapupunta rin sa kamay ng ibang mas-korap sa kanila na opisyales.
Unfortunately, what this ultra –corrupt officials fail to realize is that all this negative info will come around during the election season to haunt them and depending on how it is presented to the voters or let me be more blunt about it, depending on how the info is spinned and used against them, they will certainly loose votes. How many they will loose, I will tell you later after elections. That is the reason this paper just like one of our long time affiliates will be published at twice weekly during election season, plus printing is ten fold (depending on the sponsor[s] budget) with focused and strategic distribution/circulation etc. These idiots must have forgotten that PR has 2 faces, the good and the bad, and since politics is addition, who needs bad PR? Don’t you get it, you ultra-corrupt greedy officials?!
