For now my dear readers, we will keep the identity of this Mayor that is being taken for a ride (pinapaikot) by his/her Department Heads (blind item for the meantime). While this Mayor had won the elections after he/she had invested MILLIONS, nilampaso ang lahat ng kanyang katunggali pagdating sa gastos at Big Time naman si Asawa. The problem now with this Mayor is she/he is now supposed to be in control and is the BOSS while some say that the Mayor appears to be a slow learner, but more so the Mayor seems to be relying on the wrong people surrounding her/him whom she/he cannot be counted on, more so be trusted at that. This to my small mind may be the eventful downfall of this Mayor. While Money-Money-Money is perhaps the most important factor in winning elections, there are, as we all know, other factors to consider. An official may project himself/herself to be straight but if that official is perceived to be unutile, inefficient and incompetent and therefore could not deliver more so to the masses, this could be a big NO NO to a lot of the voters.
At this point, I am still hoping that the heart of this Mayor is leaning towards those who have less in life and not towards his or her rich amigos or amigas!
Let us take for example the current PDigong. Some of his detractors are saying that he is not ready to be the President and is not capable at all. Ever since, they say he has been a tyrannical Mayor all his life. He is incompetent, this is what a lot of his detractors say. We all of course know that a top official is only as good as the people around him who provide him with the most valuable honest to goodness support and advice.
Let us now take a look at this Mayor. It appears that he/she is surrounded by hold-over department heads (if my information is correct) and as you and I know, when a new administration comes in, the first order of the day should be to let go of the previous heads as one can really never tell if these department heads are nincompoops or not. A new administration should always strive to make a good name to the public, to endear his or her administration to the mass based voting public and not just to their amigos or amigas whom they rub elbows with or their KKK (Kabarilan, Kaklase etc…). At the end of the day, the Mayor being the top man/woman as the Chief Executive will have no one to blame if he/she does not listen to all sides of the story, more so the side of those who bring a problem to her/his office for resolution.
As they say, ABANGAN ang mga susunod na kabanata. This paper will be coming out with a series of reports (with a 6 to 10 fold increase in publication – special publications) on how this Mayor appears to be inutile and is being given the run around by some of his/her Department Heads, and after which we can just hope that this Mayor starts house cleaning and getting his/her act together!
